RAID 5 Recovery


RAID 5 is one of the most commonly used RAID arrays both in business and on home computers. This is because RAID 5 both increases performance and provides data redundancy and hence fault tolerance. Moreover, RAID 5 is an inexpensive RAID type since overhead is only one disk. RAID 5 can be created either using operating system drivers (Linux allows creating almost any of RAID 5 variations) or a standalone controller.
